Ronnie Chowdhury

Dr. Mashrur “Ronnie” Chowdhury is the Eugene Douglas Mays Chair of Transportation in the Glenn Department of Civil Engineering at Clemson University. He is also a professor in the Department of Automotive Engineering at Clemson University and a member of the Clemson University International Center of Automotive Research (CU ICAR). Dr. Chowdhury is a Co-Director of the Complex Systems, Data Analytics and Visualization Institute (CSAVI) at Clemson University. Chowdhury came to Clemson as an Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering in 2004 and has carved out a name for himself in cybersecurity research. Recently, he and his students have turned the campus into a testbed, wiring roads with cameras and communication equipment to test their ideas.
